The curricula and programs of the department "Artistic products from wood" provide for the study of decorative carving, marquetry, inlay, turning, mercerizing, turning, elements of carpentry and many others. Here, great attention is paid to preserving the continuity of traditions, studying the basics of professional and folk art, and at the same time training a specialist for the needs of modernity. Considerable attention is paid to familiarizing yourself with the basics of restoring wood products. The thematic range of graduates' works includes individual furniture forms and sets, thematic relief compositions, sacred furniture and attributes for temples, etc.
