Artistic painting
Junior Professional Bachelor

The program tasks of the 1st level of accreditation are structured in such a way that there is a methodological sequence and dependence of the main academic disciplines of this specialty: composition, work in the material, technology and basic ones: drawing and painting. Composition tasks are closely related to technological processes. The implementation of these tasks is combined with the parallel study of the main techniques of monumental and decorative painting, such as sgraffito, zgancho, plaster relief, tempera and acrylic painting, stained glass, mosaic, fresco. Copy tasks are performed to study and improve the technique of oil and tempera painting.

Polychrome ornamental painting

Study of the technique of performing polychrome ornament based on classical samples (Byzantine ornamentation, ancient Ukrainian church ornamentation, Arabic). Goal: mastering practical skills and achieving harmonious color relationships when performing flat ornamentation.

Ornamental decorative insert

Execution of an ornamental insert composition based on folk ornamental art (vytinanka, vybyka, etc.) in the zgancho technique.

Goal: studying the zgancho technique and the sequence of work.

Interpretation of Easter egg motifs

Based on examples of folk art (pysanka, embroidery, weaving), create your own closed or frieze composition. Goal: to create an ornamental composition using the tempera painting technique.

Copy of Petrykivka painting

Вивчення техніки виконан ня яєчної темпери на основі зразкiв петриківського роз пису. Мета: дотримання технології та технiки письма яєчною тем перою, досягнення технічної вправності.

Painting on glass

Based on samples of folk art (tiles), make a copy using the stained glass painting technique.
